In the time that I’ve been alive, I have been faced with the overwhelming reality of death many times.  Although it is a common experience for young people, the death of my grandparents was particularly hard on me.  It was the death of my grandfather when I was nine that really piqued my interest in the paranormal because of the fact that both my cousin and I had seen him since his passing.  Our parents did not believe us, of course.  After this, though, I took special interest in the pursuit of what happens after death. Death of a Loved One

In light of recent events, I thought I would write an entry on the passing of a loved one and how that may or may not relate to the paranormal.  Last week, an old friend of mine passed away suddenly.  No one saw it coming.  Whenever it is a completely unexpected death, it leaves those still living wondering “what if?”  Even with death that has some warning, the living are always left to wonder, “what became of this person after they passed?” Continue reading

The other day, I was sitting at home watching ghost shows with all the lights off (of course), and stumbled upon an interesting theory about spirits. The episode profiled a family’s home that was being haunted by a young woman. When asked about the history of the house, though, they said no young woman had ever died in the house. Continue reading
